I love taking trips out of town. It doesn’t matter if it’s driving around to check out the beautiful scenes or spending the weekend driving and then camping out in the middle of nowhere. I can already tell you that the Coleman brand is great. We own several of their other products and have had them for years, so it’s not surprising at all that they make grills! The Coleman 9949 750 Road Trip Grill lxe Red has 285 sq. inches of great cooking space meaning I can throw at least 3-4 burgers on it.

There are two burners that run on 10,000 BTU and individual control knobs so you can adjust the temperatures to your liking. And there’s an electronic ignition which lets you start grilling in a matter of seconds without the use of matches.

There are two cast-iron cooking grates on the Coleman 9949 750 Road Trip Grill lxe which are warp-resistant and because the grates are also coated in a porcelain-enamel, clean up is a extremely easy. And greasy fats from meats are caught in a grease tray that easily sides out for cleaning. There’s also two side tables that attach for extra space in preparing your foods. And when the tables are not in use they can easily be stored underneath the Coleman 9949 750.

It does require a 16.4 ounce propane cylinder or 20-pound tank which you’ll need to purchase separately. If you choose to go with the tank, you’ll also need to purchase additional accessories to hook up the tank with. For most people the cylinder is plenty unless you’re planning to do a lot of grilling or camping for more than a day.

In addition, the Coleman 9949 750 Road Trip Grill Red also various interchangeable cooking surfaces that you can attach, including a griddle and a stovetop that you can buy. And when you’re done grilling, all you have to do is collapse the foldable legs with wheels and use the towing handle to roll it to your vehicle. How simple is that?
